when i try to search globally for group chats it always shows 0 group chats. am i missing some step?

I'm a bit confused. Doesn't it even say to "search for group chats" in the placeholder?

it says to join a group chat or search for a new group chats globally and there is a glove icon to the right of the text box

i assumed if yyou new the address of the chat you wanted you would tye it in the text box but the globe icon would give you a list of all open group chats similar to what happens in irc

i just clicked the globe icon and then hit entee

didnt realize it still needs a search term in the box

probably because the list of all open group chats would be huge compare to the number of irc channels

need to limit the size of the results list in some way

Ah, I see it's in the Account -> Advanced settings as "Debug console"

Can I manage my bookmarks somewhere? There is a groupchat I left but it's still set to autojoin so I rejoin it all the time

famfo_, closing it in Gajim sets it to autojoin=False.

You may have another client adding autojoin=True again

I usually have to go to another client to remove it from my `storage:bookmarks` completely, which is a bit annoying. Maybe said other client also adds autojoin to true again thoguh.

One more Monocles Chat and another Gajim

Gajim does not leave a groupchat if you leave it on another device

dont know what monocles does

you can test the auto join behavior if you turn of all other clients then leave a groupchat and restart, if the chat is not joined it works as expected
