hau: but in a browser you don't send something to a person, seems like a very risky functionality

  2. hau

    > hau: but in a browser you don't send something to a person, seems like a very risky functionality seems fine in mumble idk, i think it'd be nice to have. mostly just want to be able to send with mouse only. maybe just a send in the right click menu instead of paste and send if you think it's too risky

  3. hau

but idk when you'd ever use that except when pasting so makes sense to combine it

  4. lovetox

hau, the send button is not gone, preferences -> chats -> show send button

  5. hau

    oic

  6. hau

still think it would be nice to have, maybe it can be a preference too in there

  7. Christof

how do I know which commit a nightly flatpak build corresponds to?

  8. lovetox

You mean if you build it yourself?

  9. Christof

no, the ones from flatpak install --user https://ftp.gajim.org/flatpak/appstream/org.gajim.Gajim.Devel.flatpakref

  10. Christof

if I build myself (which doesn'T work on my machine, as described above) then I know which git commit I am building.

  11. hannibal

There is `flatpak info`. But that nightly build is currently broken and not up-to-date.

  12. Christof

    flatpak info org.gajim.Gajim.Devel Gajim (Nightly) - Ein vollwertiger XMPP-Chat-Client Kennung: org.gajim.Gajim.Devel Ref: app/org.gajim.Gajim.Devel/x86_64/master Architektur: x86_64 Zweig: master Version: 1.9.3 Lizenz: GPL-3.0-only Ursprung: gajim-nightly Sammlung: Installation: user Installiert: 78,8 MB Laufzeitumgebung: org.gnome.Platform/x86_64/46 Sdk: org.gnome.Sdk/x86_64/46 Commit: 6a5a48666f3eb25214a9c27cde3ecc5bb2cc2faed3937e22de5126… Parent: 2ca9cc06dd0816e802d4c064260b66d74de3354090c7efebe2211c… Betreff: Export org.gajim.Gajim.Devel Datum: 2024-09-15 02:05:21 +0000

  13. Christof

    ok, thank you

  14. Christof

well, that's interesting. Debian stable (gajim 2.1,1) is newer than nightly dev builds

  15. Christof

alright. I just found this: https://dev.gajim.org/gajim/gajim/-/issues/12177

  16. Christof

so, where should flatpaks be built? From the conversation earlier I learnt that this should work on arch

  17. Christof

so I am currently considering using a arch docker image to build gajim flatpak. At this stage I might as well contribute that image to somewhere (or even contribute a trigger into my local tekton CI thing that builds flatpak images and publishes them somewhere)

  18. lovetox

You can try but flatpaks have problems with docker

  19. lovetox

Building a flatpak should work on any distribution

  20. lovetox

If not you may want to ask in the flatpak support channel

  21. Christof

so, apparently flatpack does build, when the git repo is cloned to ~/Gajim

  22. Christof

but not if it is cloned to /home/<user>/somewhere/strange/gajim

  23. bot

lovetox pushed 1 commits to branch gajim/master chore: Update translations - https://dev.gajim.org/gajim/gajim/-/commit/243ab702e2dcec579215d1bcc9e526d6e16f3ea1

  24. Codimp

i receive email the new translations are needed but when I connect on the weblate there is nothing

  25. colinR

  26. cal0pteryx

Codimp: there are issues with Weblate at the moment

  27. Codimp

    oh ok

  28. juli
