I have a feeling this might be some broken package updated recently. Gajim was working perfectly fine a few days ago.

Is it possible to enable debugging / logging information for MUC-MAM requests?

I do have some problems with MAM in MUC. Profanity, Dino are working well, but gajim doesn't show the messages.

Was was also thinking about an issue with "Sync Threshold". I was using No Threshold for some days. But I switched to 1 Month.

simply set it to no threshold

lovetox: No. This issue just happends somtimes on different maschines.

Is there a local SQL-DB which I can look into? I would look into this issue in more details.

Stefan_: there are sql databases for various purposes in .local/share/gajim, .config/gajim, .cache/gajim

i dont think you can find anything useful in the database

you can enable debug logging in preferences, and when it happens analyze the logs

lovetox: I was able to fix it by a workaround. I deleted one row in mam_archive_state in logs.db. After I deleted the row, I got the messages.
