So far, I've been writing plugins for hexchat, and I've also been playing around with the ERC emacs IRC client. So, I wanted to write my first XMPP plugin. as my first plugin, it doesn't matter what I write.

Gajim also has not a great Plugin API

so its more like hacking :)

iirc gajim support this XEP so it's better than writing new XEP ;p also you can do this without XEP IBB

It worked before fine, updated to Flatpak and is now opening in browser.

search the interent on how to change link handlers for flatpak

hello, how can I enable chat notification sounds for active chats?

but looking through the settings, advanced settings editor, and source code (i'm not familiar with the code base, to be fair), i couldn't find any options for this, and also didn't seem to find commits from the time that mentioned this in their commit messages.
