    The latest OTR actually fixed a lot of prior issues like no multi-device, but few XMPP clients implemented the later specs

    When I enable or disable VPN, Gajim disconnects and doesn't notice it disconnects. It doesn't reconnect and doesn't indicate it disconnected. I have to restart the program.Also, it takes like several clicks on quit for it to actually quit.

    I remember a gajim taking specifically two kill signals to exit under certain conditions. I never figured out exactly what that was all about.

    1. we depend on a network manager to tell us if a network switch happens, this probably does not happen on however you switch vpn

    2. quit is not instant, because we do stuff on quit, like commiting open transactions to the database, of course if you click a second time kill, then you also interrupt that process
