Hello there and thank you for your development of Gajim, the chat messenger. I have upgraded Debian to new version and now I can't see my icons on the right side. For example, I don't see clearly the icons, they are kind of missing.

and pasting doesn't work anymore. I wonder why. Is there anybody who can help me with icons and pasting the file?

Louis2, you mean drag and drop a file?

icons will be fixed with the next release

lovetox
what version of Gajim are you using?

I'm just using official version from Debian 13, I don't know how can I install any other version, I would install if I know how.
-
lovetox
you can install Gajim from flathub
-
lovetox
https://flathub.org/apps/org.gajim.Gajim
-
lovetox
then the drag&drop should be fixed, and probably also the icon problems

Flatpak version did not recognize my old accounts, just one, others are forgotten or disappeared, and my spaces... lost
-
debacle
Louis2 Don't know, if that fits your needs and uses cases: I run Debian testing on my private computer with the latest Gajim from Debian experimental (2.3.4-1), and Debian stable on my work computer with the Gajim version that comes with stable (2.1.1-2). Works well for me. Flatpak is not my cup of tea.✎ -

Maybe the Flatpak should offer a Welcome Screen with explanations how to migrate old data?
