try starting with LANG=en_US.UTF-8

and if this works, check your locale settings on your system

we already tried this according to last commits, but it don't change anything (and the system locale is en_US.UTF-8) ✏

Supposedly the problem did not occur with master.

ok my bad, it was in fact an issue in locale declaration, so GTK fallback to "C" which lead to the known issue, it's solved using master branch, thanks

Click `Start Chat` The rooms that are listed there have bookmarks. If you right click a room's entry and click `Forget chat`, the bookmark will be deleted (and you'll also leave the room and delete your local history of it)
