concerto: i have read above that recent gajim depends on packages which are not even in debian unstable, i.e. it is not possible to upgrade. maybe somebody will tell you more.

IIRC the Gajim nightly repository used to provide additional packages needed to install it...

concerto: yes, but this is a version mismatch with a library on your system. Flatpak would be an alternative

On Gajim 2.3.4 flatpak version, when I try to set an image for workspace the app stops responding and crashes. Any clue? Running on Debian Bookworm

Did you try with different images?

yes, different formats (png and jpg) the images are ~ 5KB

We only support currently correcting the last message and only if it was sent by Gajim and only within I think 5 mijutes
