currently means gajim is masked on gentoo above 2.3.0

I think we use a feature from that version otherwise we would not have raised the dependency

hello, I've suddenly started experiencing extreme slowness in gajim after a recent update, and cannot find the cause - any help on troubleshooting is appreciated

On which OS did you install Gajim?

I'm not sure on which version it started, somewhere around mid-July. I'm using it on Parabola GNU/Linux which is a downstream of Arch Linux, and it is currently pulling 2.3.4 from the Arch mirrors.

The slowness is apparent in all interfaces

Which makes me suspect a bug in PyGTK (other GTK programs run fine)

now i launched gajim and attachment button is randomly greyed out

oh ok it was only randomly greyed out for 10 seconds

On start we wait until the server tells us that it supports http upload
