It's probably just because of alphabetical order, but it's a bit odd/funny to me that when I type :thumbs that the first auto-completion is thumbs down instead of thumbs up, and that due to all the skin tone variants (which I never use, btw...) I can't even *see* thumbs up without typing out the whole name.

How odd, for me the auto completion only offers the yellow ones

I'm on an older version, maybe they changed it. That sounds nice...

of course it would be nice if you could customize that in case you prefer a skin tone over the others

Hello guys, i have installed 2.3.4 and had a bit trouble connecting until i set the hostname for the server manually. this never was a problem before. it seems like the dns lookup is broken or something.

how can i get rid of that popup denying me to close the program if i didnt read all the messages?

this is very bad design, sometimes there is a storm of messages and gajim has to be closed when instructed to close by the user, without any popup spam

when i click X i want that gajim immediately terminates itself, no questions asked

is there an option to deactivate all popup spam from gajim?

i actually dont want to ever see any popup window

de-facto: check the ACE-editor, there is an option "confirm_on_window_delete". i think that's what you are looking for.

fee: we didn't change anything in that regard, it seems that the DNS of the server may have broke at the same time by coincidence

should not be the case since manual dns queries for the srv entry on the same system worked fine... does gajim cache dns replies?

in general i think popup spam is a very bad idea, it blocks the UI and other options for the user that is forced to click "confirm" "deny" etc

Hi there, I am having trouble (re)joining the conversations MUC (conversations@conference.siacs.eu) with 2.3.4. It just keeps spinning, 2.3.3 loads the number of new messages almost instantly.

sometimes if i click the quote/reply button (im pretty sure this happens to reactions too), it just disappears and moves 1 message up

i have no idea how to replicate it but it just happens sometimes, do you have any idea why?

it could be because it extends above the actual message it belongs to, but im not sure
