  3. Polarity

    > https://dev.gajim.org is back 🙏 Nice.

  4. Polarity

These Github mirrors have been handy.

Thank you for your continued developments. Just installed 2.3.3 (from 2.2.0). I like the incremental updates and changes.

Is there a way to access what was previously in the help menu (version, keyboard shortcuts, links to wiki, faq, this chat)?

    > Is there a way to access what was previously in the help menu (version, keyboard shortcuts, links to wiki, faq, this chat)? In the top right corner, there is a button that is displayed as a question mark in a circle.

    > In the top right corner, there is a button that is displayed as a question mark in a circle. Ah, I had missed it, thanks!

  9. maximus

I see that in the gtk4 version there's no top menu bar

  10. lovetox

has nothing to do with gtk4, we just didnt have enough to put there anymore

  11. Schimon

While I am more fond of Miranda IM (Miranda NG) and Psi, I have to mention that the interface of Gajim is well made, and is better than ever. This is my private thought of it, despite of how terrible GTK+ 4 is, and the removal of activity and mood and link-local.

  12. lovetox

Good to hear Schimon, im also happy with the new look we did with 2.3, we will continue to work on improvements

cal0pteryx, https://xmpp.org/extensions/ is not showing Gajim in implementations with `removed` status. For example, XEP-0107 lists Movim as removed but doesn’t list Gajim https://github.com/movim/movim/blob/master/doap.xml#L192 https://dev.gajim.org/gajim/gajim/-/blob/master/data/gajim.doap#L243

  14. lissine

It could be because of the since element

  15. lovetox

lissine, i dont see gajim for 107

  16. lissine

It should be listed as removed

  17. lissine

    That’s the bug

  18. lissine

    Movim is listed as removed

  19. lovetox

    oh

  20. lovetox

    ok :)

  21. lissine

    Oh, never mind

  22. lissine

It’s because the gitlab instance was down

  23. lovetox

crazy, then gajim is removed from xmpp.org :D

  24. lovetox

    no chill

  25. lissine

In my opinion, xmpp.org should cache the doap files, and use the cached version when it can't fetch one of them
