A question. Is there any way to check within Gajim if the gajim I installed was portable version or not? if so.. where do I find it?

and second question. If I have an account or have anything configured within Gajim and its saved somewhere and then I install a new version over the old one or update to new version.. Will what I configured and what I changed etc be gone?

As long as you don't change install method your settings will be preserved

i see the gajim 2.2.0 is released. but from what i see,it still says 1.9.5 on the site.. especially the one from Microsoft Store

danielstein, yes thats why you can look at the groups with the group filter in start chat, what it does not allow is to look at multiple groups at the same time, but i would argue this is a rare case, and can be worked around by looking at the groups one after another
