Btw, why the implementation of libadwaita in Gajim? Is it to make it look equal on all platforms or what is the purpose of it?

I have a contact that is online in Conversations but not in Gajim. I do not seem to be able to activate to share my online status either, it wont "stick" after closing the chat detail window. When I get messages from the same contact i can read them in Conversations but not in Gajim because they are not encrypted for the device I run Gajim on. What could be the problem?

The problem is you are not subscribed for what ever reason

This also fucks with encryption

I edited the roster files for me and the contact on my server. Now we are both subscribed to one another on both Gajim and Conversations. I'm going to test if it is working tomorrow.
