    I would not expect the background to be white or have different color as the rest of the ui

    Yes a lot of places where we have now such problems

    do you know how to fix them? do you have to give them all an appropriate bg color by css and hide the borders?

    no, its probably removing the css we used before

    but i have no idea, someone needs to look into the css applied and look how it needs to change

    could also be changed by using Adw widgets instead of what we use now

    That one in the screenshot could be replaced by a bottom bar, which is available in toolbarviews
