OMEMO TOFU I've verified the fingerprint (FP) of a contact. After the first msg there are some more FPs. What does that mean? Do I have to verify all of them?

Could be that your contact has multiple devices (each with its own key/fingerprint)?

Hi, How do I add one of my devices to my OMEMO settings. I can read my conversations with various clients but fail to decrypt my own messages with Gajim 2.2.0 (Unix/Linux).

How can I enlarge the message editor window?

I think the maximum size currently is about 200 px. Maybe for larger texts (or small window widths, where you got a lot of lines), arbitrary resizing would make sense? ✏

There is a plugin called message box size. You can set a height using that plugin

I wouldn't mind to resize the input the same way you resize the other panels currently. What objections would you have? :)

They want to have it grow automatically

So maybe we should allow them somewhere to set the max height?

Or let's simply change it so it can get bigger, this probably solves it for most users

I checked Ms teams and there it grows to like 12 lines which I guess should be enough for almost all cases

In our case it's 5 lines currently

Yeah I think we can raise this a lot, and then see if we get further requests

So: raise to ~12 lines, keep the plugin, don't implement resizing by hand

Yes, this would be my try before we implement something more complex

I don't think people need it variable, I think for some it's just to small
