Gajim - 2025-04-21

Hello, depending on desktop environment (MATE and KDE) and distro (Trisquel+gajim flatpak, Parabola+gajim from archlinux repository), I have 2 different behaviours when clicking on the gajim icon in the panel: either show a menu (Trisquel MATE) or hide/show gajim window (Trisquel KDE and Parabola). Both are fine to me, just reporting in case such information has any use for development.

one click shows the menu, double click hides the window

but i notice just now this is not decided by Gajim, every desktop env decides this themself what command they send on click or double click to Gajim

Does Gajim have a "use OMEMO by default" option?

Can't see it on preferences tho

Another question, is there a way to make Gajim complete nicknames with TAB? Seems to not work

no you need to type @

so yes, TAB works after typing @

That's fine, just don't want to type the whole nickname every time
