Hello, with the new Gajim flatpak version in Trisquel 11 MATE, when I click on the Gajim indicator icon in the MATE panel, the menu that opens is just a few pixel long and empty, so if I closed the Gajim window, I cannot reopen it use the indicator icon in the panel. In 1.9.5 or earlier, I had a menu and one of the choices was to hide or show Gajim. Is that a change on purpose or a bug in my settings?

I could put a launcher icon to reopen the window (it works) but then the indicator icon is rather useless.

hannibal, thanks, it looks like this but not 100% sure. Someone mentions having the issue on Arch with XFCE, I have a computer with Parabola (uses Arch repos but blacklists/replaces anythingn non-free) with MATE, I will check what happens there. I was wondering whether it was a flatpak-only problem.

conversations on the same network downloads the same file 10x times faster

gajim is running on nvme ssd, no load whatsoever

also while downloading such file gajim begins using 100% of the cpu

fetching messages, just means MAM sync and has nothing to do with, if you are joined or not

but i tell you what to look for later

It got these two messages you just sent, but not the ones from before. Now I've closed the channel's tab and tried to rejoin it, but it always says "This address is not reachable"...

seems some kind of connection problem

for me this room fetches messages instantly

anyway you can grep for gajim.c.mam and the JID, and see if it ever completes the mam catchup ✏

or look for other errors

Pedro Ataíde (movim.eu), you're rude. You may be upset that things changed for you, but that's no reason to act like that. This is most likely _your_ theme that behaves differently because Gajim switched fom GTK3 to GTK4. Check your theme, be nice.

I'm having issues with gajim 2.0. It segfaults when I try to enable an account, and the emoji reactions sent by gajim are not recognized by Conversations (but Conversations reactions override the Gajim reactions)

marmistrz, try updating to Gajim 2.0.2, a couple of segfault issues were fixed in it

marmistrz, you are the first one to report problems with reactions, i did a quick test with conversation and it works for me in both directions

so very weird, you probably need to look in the log for errors

lovetox: Thanks. I think before the last upgrade nickname tab completion worked without the need to type "@".

I'm using a dark theme. Is there a way to change the conversations Window background color, so that it becomes more black and less dark grey?

I like contrast, and green text chat contrasts better with a pure black background, just like on the good old days of the terminal.

Besides, those are the main colors of my URXVT terminal: green text on black background. I want the some thing here on Gajim, just like I had before the last upgrade.

You can press the add chat button and search for the contact.

It is similar to how some other chat apps do it, but I am personally also not a fan.
