i click-hold on the voice note button and sometimes, not always, it starts replaying a random previous voice note at the same time as recording the current one

as long as you don’t duplicate them between two clients it should be fine

but back it only up after you closed gajim, and dont start it new until you installed your new OS

If I did a backup and restore, is there a way to regenerate OMEMO keys on the old installation, so the two installations can be online at the same time without OMEMO problems?

older versions of Conversations had an option to do this in advanced settings
