recent gajim master seems to be ignoring some messages sent with omemo

cal0pteryx, if there were logs I would have added them to my message. So far this happened 2 times with no logs (or I missed them) and I sent my message to find out if the issue is known or not

I don't always run gajim in debug mode

hello, someone know where I can find Gajim code implementing XEP-0368? About SRV DNS records to check to connect to a server? I can't find it in the code

It's in python nbxmpp

But it's simply the standard xmpp srv records

I can't find it in nbxmpp too, do you know in which file it is?

Is it the xmpp protocol that does not support "special" characters in file names like ' and ( ) ? or it is gajim stripping them out ?

Example this file is supposed to be called Hannah's song(7).mp3

that's probably more of a conservative fallback for file system limitations

I don't think fat32 supports those characters even, yet it is the de-facto portable standard. like kris said, its probably the gcd (greated common denominator) of allowed characters across filesystem. ✏
