is there a "start to tray option for gajim?

nicktoolong: I don't have gajim accessible to me at the moment so I can't check, but I'm almost certain there is an option for that. It's either in the normal options menu or in the advanced configuration editor.

It's possible the option is in the tray icon menu too.

It works in the gtk3 version but the gtk4 version dropped it

Right now, there is some message in "Dino Public Chat" that crashes gajim.

At least mine.

Checked from conversations, seems simple chat, don't know why opening it is crashing my gajim. 🫤️

I hope there's an alternative to gajim before it's gtk4

Obviosuly the (here also well known user) "clown" has put my short steps-to-reproduce string for triggering the crash into his last message in the Dino MUC.

Forgot to update my flatpak version of Gajim to 1.9.5 (was still on 1.9.3); loving the move of the "typing status indicator" from the chat title to just above the chat input box.

it had an old version that was incompatible with other clients and afaik due to code-rott it was disabled.

Well I still see the option on 1.9.5 so I guess it's just incompatible with other clients

there is a work in progress on supporting the newer standard, but apparently there are some upstream library issues
