    Is there a way to find out, if Gajim (more or less git master) has received a new message for me? With 1.9.5 I relied on the tray icon, but that is gone. If there were a DBus signal or a method or property to check, I might be able to hack something into my modeline. ✎

    we have desktop notification, sound notifications, and yes also dbus signals are issued for every new message
