Also we added a menu entry which allows to moderate all messages from a specific user (i.e. a spammer)

There will be more convenience methods coming regarding spam prevention/cleanup

How does one make Gajim use a specific nickname to join a channel?

It always joins me as "support", which is indeed the localpart of this account's JID.

A contact in roster changes avatar which then appears in all phones tablets and Gajim but if I shutdown and restart Gajim avatar is missing. This is only on Gajim all phones tablets and dino retain avatar

Debian nightly , the avatar briefly appears at startup before being replaced by coloured blob

My account avatars work fine just contact. I have tried different avatars on contacts phone all the same result

Hey guys, I cannot open/save any attachment and also cannot send attachments with Flatpak version, is there any trick?

Tried flatseal to give additional permissions to file system, but that seems not to help.. This is a --user installation.. ✏

looks like I may have solved it, disabled vcard4 in Prosody, mystery, why only Gajim was affected

GTK should still fallback to its own file dialog in that case, maybe bring it up to them?

Also make sure you run the latest version, I remember some bug about that in old GTK versions.

now i ran "systemctl --user start xdg-desktop-portal" and checked again, but door-knocker shows still the same..

"systemctl --user status xdg-desktop-portal" shows active..

I'm running a kind of special environment, I got everything running now :)
