I'm pretty sure I used to drag files (images, usually) to post to the chatbox, that now seems to do nothing(?!), and I have to drag to the main window for them to upload/post. what happened there? the chatbox turns green when something is dragged there but then nothing happens, so not sure what it thinks it's doing.

I could be misremembering honestly because I think nheko (matrix) behavior was similar but maybe not identical so I could just be thinking of that. but the green outline appearing is new at least

bard_: which version has worked for you and since when does the bug occur? There was a small fix for persistent dnd overlays in master, does it has regressed something?
-

I'm not really sure what version I was on before, but I'm on 1.9.3 now where I noticed the changed behavior.

I'm installing Gajim from guix, so I believe it's just stable releases and not building from master.

cal0pteryx: about donations, KDE has made good experience with DonorBox: https://kde.org/de/donate/ Donations have went up in general and now sky rocket in December: https://kde.org/community/donations/previousdonations/ DonorBox takes 2% fees but it creates much less hurdles the user as it doesn't require any registration. :)✎ -

lissine: can confirm, maybe since the jump to down patch?

There's also another bug, if you search messages for a nick which is non existent and then search for an existing one, the search result isn't filtered

I say compile it yourself or grab it from the makedeb user repository
