Might be a daft question. But how do I install the current version on MX Linux? May the Debian sid repo be enough? And reactivate it every once in a while to update?

  18. voker57

    it's a bad idea

  19. voker57

either try to manually download and install debian's gajim packages, or use flatpak/source/whatever

  20. voker57

oh, also the 'Nightly package from git' might work https://gajim.org/download/

  21. julian

Understood Thanks I'll stay with my current flatpak than

    > Might be a daft question. > But how do I install the current version on MX Linux? > May the Debian sid repo be enough? > And reactivate it every once in a while to update? on Linux connecting to Tor is very simple, but on Windows it's not so simple, I made a video tutorial of that and literally had to download Tor Bundle, a program intended for developers

btw little respect on your part to call others foolish

Hi, I think there is a little bug in calculation of the width in the "Group Chat Details" window:

  35. jstein

however it works for some other long channel names:

It's the contact name widget, I've seen that as well. Not sure why that's happening, have to check

  38. jstein

While at it, it seems to me there are redundant places where one can edit the channel name. I think it should be one place only and have a hover tag like "Public name of the MUC" and another "Local name of the MUC"

  39. cal0pteryx

jstein: have you tried current master?

  40. jstein

    I tried net-im/gajim-1.9.5 from source

Are the OMEMO public keys linked to a ressource as in bob@example.com/smombyphone? And is it possible to list the keys in Gajim together with the ressource information? This would enable the user to keep an overview on the keys
