after a recent gajim update (to 1.9.3 I believe) and restart, it's trying to do a DB migration and it fails every time, then my only option is to close gajim. so the program has become unusable suddenly. It was fine under 12 hours ago. https://0x0.st/8rHN.txt Here is the traceback info it gives me. It says database disk image is malformed. (posting this from Conversations now)

Can you install sqlbrowser and open the database there

which file? I see ~/.local/share/gajim has per-account DB files also am heading to bed shortly so will have to pick this up later

in the same folder there should be a backup of the database

you can rename it and try again the migration

How do I configure Gajim to always show the full message instead of having to click "read more"? Couldn't find it in the settings, couldn't find it in the ACE...

concerto: there is no way to enable that. It's a performance limitation
