Some xmpp channels, like sopranica, simply block "long" non-member messages. Others make you "click to see" more than a few lines, fwiw.

any plans to add more to the url previews in gajim? Or are there any plugins out there for things like showing a preview if a youtube url is pasted?

I think for privacy reasons the idea is to have the sending side embedd that. Some clients like Cheogram already do.

I'd like to see some kind of progress on that issue

hey so when i send a message to someone with omemo on conversations i cannot read that message i sent on gajim

it says this message was encrypted with omemo but not for your device

Check if the gajim fingerprint is trusted in conversations

just flip the switch in other devices right

Accounts -> Discover Services -> `conversations.im` -> Chatooms: Gajim finds for me only Chinese chatrooms. However https://search.jabber.network/search?q=conversations.im yields many English/German MUCs. Is Gajim's query incomplete or does the server not respond with more results?
