    Hey, I have an annoying issue with gajim which prevent me using it. it throw an exception when wanting to add a group chat roster entry that already exists. this exception break the app and prevent the main window to be created /usable

    I tried to delete this roster entry here from Conversations, but it still try to add it and fails 😔

    Hm, I closed gajim and edited the settings.sqlite file to remove reference to this channel and ensuring i left/removed this channel in Conversations, and now it seems to works again... phew

    why links such as https://sharer.woodpeckersnest.space/FuzE5/KEDUXewA68/raw.png aren't embedded in gajim, while they are in conversejs?

    You need to enable image preview for all links in preferences

    Does it only show as link?

    nevermind, pasting the link directly works, while if a message containing the link is relayed from another room, it's not embedded

    We only embed if link is the only content of the message
