Hi i was wondering if it was possible to mark a MUC as being safe to automatically preview images in gajim? The chats preferences has a toggle for "preview in public group chats", but what counts as a private group chat?

every muc where you need to be invited

members only is the option called in group chat

you cannot set it per group chat, either all public groupchats or none

Hey guys. I'm trying to set up PGP chat between conversations and gajim. So when I send messages from conversations to gajim everything works fine but not the other way around. Do you have any idea what could it be?

hmm, when you click download on a large file and then switch to another chat while it downloads, it stops the download

Yes. I intentionally tried to set the wrong one and gajim wouldn't let me

are you sure you trusted that key in PGP?

otherwise it probably will not encrypt to it

On my PC there are two private keys, both of them were generated on this PC hence both are trusted (at least that's what gpg says). On my phone I have only one private key and the other one is public. Is there anything wrong with this configuration?

if you enable debug logging, for example gajim -v

the debug output is printed from gpg, then you can see if gpg encrypts to the key you want

if that is the case the problem is most likely on conversations side

gsound might also be an issue

what does gsound have to do with gtk?

It depends in libcanberra which seems to depend on gtk3
