How do I retrieve my password?

  2. fjklp

That depends. If it's stored in a keyring, you can use a keyring program to read it.

jane, which bridge is that btw? Maybe report the issue to them?

  4. meson

What do you think about moving the typing indicator into the right lower edge? +: It wouldn't cover any avatar. - : It could potentially cover a few letter of text

  6. fjklp

I was considering kind of crazy stuff like doing it vertically, similar to vertical tabs

  7. fjklp

I think the actual solution is the obvious one, right above the text input, on its own line

  8. fjklp

but what about having a typing notification space below the text input box?

  9. fjklp

I keep thinking that we could maybe use a a dedicated space for various types of notification, possibly

  10. fjklp

do we have a decided maximum number of concurrent typing notifications?

  11. fjklp

in my opinion, covering text should not be even considered

  12. fjklp

    nor covering avatars

Hi there, quick question : is it possible to change the emoji used for hats ?

  14. lovetox

    No, why?

  15. fjklp

I think that's what discord does with their roles. Being able to set custom emoji's could signify a given hat's meaning without needing to hover and read.

  16. fjklp

but that only works for a single hat in the current setup

  17. neox

At first, I was thinking that URI was the emoji uri x)

  18. neox

    > I think that's what discord does with their roles. Being able to set custom emoji's could signify a given hat's meaning without needing to hover and read. Yeah

  19. lovetox

You can set an emoji as label

  20. lovetox

Of course Gajim will still not show the label in the roster

  21. neox

Yeah, anyway thanks for this already very great feature. If it could be possible to change that emoji that would be even more awesome

    > I think the actual solution is the obvious one, right above the text input, on its own line fjklp: to avoid messages "jumping" or complaints about waisted space maybe it could be displayed if there is an active notification, but hidden again when a new message is received or the pane is scrolled?

  23. meson

Is there a muc requierement to use reactions?

  24. lovetox

    Yes occupant-ud

  25. lovetox

    Yes occupant-id

  26. meson

I see, thanks, that's then likely the reason why I can't add any in a certain channel.
