Gajim - 2024-08-09

Hello. I used to come here with my xmpp account @pad7.de; now I'm here with one @5222.de. Since two or three days ago, the status of my @pad7.de account is "Connecting (desynced)" (both mine and one of my contacts); and I cannot click into the message field. Would this mean that the servers at pad7.de are down? Their https site is up. Maybe some of you have accounts with them and have or have not experienced the same disruption.

jstein: these combo boxes often suffer from scrolling issues. We would need to add a Gio menu for that. But it's a feature only used by very few (assuming this is the security label selector)

How can I export the chat history to a file? There used to be a way, but I can't find it anymore.

I remember seeing that when I used some GTK 3 software as well, but that was long ago now.

That's why we changed the status selector a long time ago to a popover with items

I've got this in my repositories ``` gajim-1.3.3-1.all (ubuntu-jammy-universe) GTK+-based Jabber client ``` And I see on https://gajim.org/download/ `Latest release 1.9.3` Is 1.3.3-1 the latest version or 1.9.3?

The latest version should be 1.9.3 but sometimes distributions lag behind

(jammy is 22.04?)
