cal0pteryx, Do you think you are going to do some kind of changes with theming in gajim? Like dynamic highlight colors or anything else? I have been thinking I would like the highlighting colors to be better and I'd maybe try to come up with better ones but if you were going to do something like dynamic colors I'd leave it to you.

fjklp: we try to keep custom colors to a minimum. So I would rather change custom ones to theme defaults. You can create an issue if you like :)

I don't know very much about themes

Themes have a default set of colors which we can access via variables. Those colors are limited, so we would have to derive colors off of those default ones. This is what I meant by dynamic ones
