When you've not used Gajim for some days it's confusing that MUC messages are missing. Is there a reason to not set 'Default Sync Threshold' to 'No Threshold' by default?

yes, because this would mean downloading an unknown amount of messages from public chats

could be 100 or 100.000

usually its not necessary that you catch up with public groupchats over a long amount of time

During a short holiday I was involved in a MUC discussion via Conversations and wanted to do some following up with Gajim afterwards. So I was missing this discussion.
