there used to be /ping command in gajim to check the response time of a client of my conntact, but with 1.8.4 it tells me "Unknown command". Was it discontinued, or is my server lacking some functionality?

No specific reason, we reworked the command interface and we didn't port it

how often are nightly flatpaks built? I assume they are built on gajim servers?

by doing `flatpak remote-info --log gajim-nightly org.gajim.Gajim.Devel` I can see that it's built one per day at the same time, the last being `Date: 2024-05-04 02:05:20 +0000`
