What would cause gajim to not omemo encrypt to another of my devices?

look at the View -> XML Console -> Log

I'm not sure exactly what I should look for but when I send an omemo message from gajim, I see 5 <key> elements when I have 1 non-gajim client in the chat and there are 5 other people in the chat, which I assume means there should be 6 <key> elements to include my Conversations client.

I forgot to mention, the following is in my debug log when gajim fails to update display of a moderated message: (W) nbxmpp.m.moderation | (magicbroccoli.de) Failed to find <retract/ed> element

notice the -> Log in my message

you should not look at the xml screen, look at the Log tab

when sending a message

Sorry. I see nothing related in the Log tab when sending the omemo message

ok do you see the fingerprint of the device in the fingerprint dialog?

No. I also turned on Show Inactive Devices, just in case

fjklp, ok then it seems to be 1) Pubsub on your server is broken, but you should see that errors regarding that, or 2) your other device is buggy

what it means that you dont see the fingerprint is, that the key is not on the server

But I'm able to communicate with others from gajim in the same chat. Does that mean that the key used to be retrievable from pubsub but has since broken?

I just deleted the account from Conversations, then added it again, same problem

I created a second account on the same server as the other and Gajim -> Conversations omemo works

is there any way to fix the omemo operation of my regular account?

gajim -> gajim also works both ways, so I don't know what it means

so what client is the device where you cant encrypt to?
