Polarian, can be both, also servers have policies that only people in your roster can reach you

Iirc jabber.ru did that and when confronted the admin claimed he saw nothing wrong with this. Also maybe creep.im. This seriously damages the whole xmpp user experience because you never know what to expect from another person's server because of a few idiots. ↺

Hello! To reset gajim, what folders/files do I need to remove? I tried removing ~/.config/gajim and ~/.cache/gajim but I still crash on startup

ah nvm, gajim wasnt really closing even after i asked it nicely. After killing it with kill -9 I'm good
