    Is there any reason why gajim is so slow on Windows... a friend of mine is complaining gajim takes over a minute to load... and then 30 seconds to connect... and trying to scroll through mesages it stutters and is unresponsive

    its only on his machine though... I have never really had an issue on windows... but I haven't used windows for years...

    Anyone worked with Ms Teams? When you write bots for it, it is possible to style the output beyond the typical chat stuff. You can to some degree influence the ui of the chat message. Is there anything remotely similar in Xmpp? I know we had XHTML Support, which is for good reasons unsupported, but is there anything else beyond the _inline_ *message* `styling`?

    Gajim claims support for XEP-0066, but it just silently hides the messages
