Hello

I am facing a problem in gajim 1.7.3 in linux.

if I add more than 15 ID.. my chat window and ID list go down from my screen and there is no scroll option to go there..

So I can not see the chat window for my typing..

is there any solution?

Sounds odd. Can you send a screenshot?

I think I understand. This would be covered by the issue you recently created. If you have enough accounts enabled at the same time, the account tabs stacked up at the left will force the window to grow vertically and you cannot access the accounts below the visible part of the window.

I had meant to make an issue for that but never did.

It does push the message input field off of the display when the window grows vertically, on gnome, at least

I do think I talked about it here awhile back.

Actually, I haven't tested that merge request. So it would fix _this_, but I don't know if the account menu will be scrollable :) ✏

Ah I see, thanks fjklp, that could indeed be the case. And yes, the menu in the MR is scrollable

ic_: If you don't mind, it could be helpful for you to share what you did so that we might improve this part of the user interface to prevent users from having the same experience. I have been thinking that this chat search is confusing, myself.

maybe it's sufficient to know a user was confused. It's pretty obvious that it's confusing.

Hi everybody, I've got a quick question on Gajim's copy/paste behaviour. At some point (likely from 1.7.x to 1.8.x), this has changed in such a way that if I select some text from a chat message in order to copy it, and then press Ctrl-C to do so, the text is de-selected and not copied. Actually just pressing Ctrl alone de-selects the text. Is that intended behaviour? I'm using Gajim 1.8.4 on Windows.
