Hello! My server contains a self-signed certificate. I send a file from “Conversations” to Gajim, I see that it contains a link like this - (aesgcm://myserveradress.com:5443/upload/4aff3d.......) the preview cannot be viewed or the file cannot be downloaded. And if I use a valid certificate from Let’s En Crypt, then everything goes fine. Is there any way to fix this in Gajim?

no problem! You need to disable certificate authentication in the settings of Gajim. Thank you!

and yes the reason is we implement IQ logic in nbxmpp not in Gajim

so gajim does not need to send IQs itself

My server has a Lets Encrypt certificate. But there is also a self-signed certificate for 2 years. For me, it’s more convenient to use a self-signed certificate and not have to worry about renewing encrypted certificates after some time. Why can't Gajim display a preview image regardless of the certificate?
