hi, I've recently installed gajin 1.8.4 on windows 8.1. when I try to run it it says: ``` Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library ... this application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusal way. ... ```

I've installed 1.8.1 too to see if it happens there, and it does.

`gajim-debug.exe` goes as far as checking for updates, and then terminates with the following error(?) `winrt::hresult_class_not_registered`.

Calling in Gajim is not functional right?

what does "disconnected: Cllosed" mean under a chat with someone?

i guess its a server that tells you a reason why some device of the user is offline

What is the fastest way to open a specific conversation in Gajim without using the pointer device? E.g. this very MUC? I use C-n, then type the MUC name (part of it is sufficient, e.g. "gaj"), then (if necessary) cursor down a couple of times, then RET. Is there an even faster way?

you can give the conversation a specifc pinned position

it depends also where you currently are, if the chat is right above your current chat, there is a short cut to go to the next/prev chat

if you search a general purpose way, to jump anywhere, C-n is probably best

and actually i do this all the time the same way in code editors

bring up some jump to search box

and type a few chars
