lovetox: I'm not so sure you are right in what you said about notification muting. I enabled a mute and it seemed to disable desktop notification and the tray icon notifications

I cannot find the possibility of chat export any more? Was this feature disabled? (debian unstable gajim version 1.8.4)

I have found the export of all chats of one account at once under manage account -> privacy -> export. That helps me for today. Is the feature of muc export still there?

why is the function not sufficient?

1. It was possible in old versions of gajim 2. to export all chats and mucs of an account is time intensive 3. ... storage intensive 4. and my gajim was unresposive while exporting thius I could not chat
