huuh, thats the thing, we dont want our users to send this

  2. lovetox

should a user care how something is maybe displayed in another client?

  3. lovetox

i think the better solution is for the receiving client giving the user the possiblity to show a message unformatted

  4. lovetox

rather than depending on the sending user, knowing that the receiving client maybe apply some formatting

hi everyone! just thought i'd drop a note that I was trying to follow the instructions to enable omemo on majaro linux ( https://dev.gajim.org/gajim/gajim-plugins/-/wikis/OmemoGajimPlugin#arch ). but the AUR package it links to ( https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/gajim-plugin-omemo ) does not exist

  6. lovetox

omemo has been integrated into Gajim

  7. lovetox

  8. elseagain

  10. lovetox

but i will remove the AUR link, thanks for mentioning

  11. elseagain

  12. elseagain

if it is useful, i think i found this page from here https://dev.gajim.org/gajim/gajim/-/wikis/help/gajimfaq#does-gajim-support-omemo-encryption it is also mentioning the plugin

  13. elseagain

and actually i originally got to it from this other project https://codeberg.org/iNPUTmice/Conversations#windows-linux don't know if you have any sway on their info but i guess is also out of date
