create a server.

reading documentation said i had to install prosody and some other steps.

trying to create with my vps.

Linuxhelptipsxmpp, well we aren't here to spoon feed you

configure prosody

enter the server address

and gajim should work

there is nothing gajim needs to do from the server point of view

apart from ensuring the XEPs you want (such as http upload) are enabled and configured

I'd just advise to look at the prosody documents at https://prosody.im/download/

Hi there! I restarted many times my prosody server because of configuration changes while still connected on gajim. I was disconnected from some muc then I noticed duplicate messages on them. In the gajim db, message had the same message id, but not the same timestamp. Will try to reproduce later.

Running nightly and am now getting popup on closing saying I have unread messages, I can't find any setting to turn this off or have I just not found it.
