in my experience, the built in windows real time virus scanner can slow down builds significantly. i always temporarily disable it in the protection settings

also can i set up triggers in such a way that it pulls up the main chat window .. and not only a notification

im trying to move people away from psi+ , and one of the main things we use is the event popup to launch the chat window to ensure they get proper attention and not missed out

Belgin: there are several issues on the gitlab, yes. In general you can say it's pretty much broken, as it is not maintained, and bit rot did its thing

Just to clarify my earlier question about tor proxy is obviously with Gajim, I have it set up on debian and it works with Firefox because I can test it but set up under advanced-global proxy in Gajim how can I know if it is working ✏

satish, what could work is: set your trigger conditions, then in "Execute Command", set the Gajim.exe from your install path /bin

ok, so the automatic conversion to pep native only happens when you have no pep-native bookmarks stored from another client

you can force convert them though

however why the auto-join flag in the old bookmark storage isn't respected is unclear

might be a Gajim bug, as the 2 bookmarks I did already have in pep-native storage do auto-join

didn't realize that before

so basically Gajim still reads the old storage bookmarks, but does not join them anymore when support for pep-native bookmarks is detected

I'll try the force conversion and see what happens

Gajim auto joins all rooms which were joined the last time

This depends on some server caps and also if you don't have another device that fucks with autojoin

If your server does not support bookmark conversion then gajim will not use pep native

it does support it, I just upgraded to ejabberd 23.10 and Gajim reports it as supported

It does not support it otherwise storage would be synct

but if ejabberd finds an existing pep-native bookmarks node it does not automatically upgrade to avoid overwriting the pep native ones

I can now receive and initiate calls with gajim from and to Conversations, with jmi too. Currently working on details like ending the call properly. I don't have that much free time, otherwise I would've finished this already.

One thing I dread is getting the new lib and wrapper packaged into gajims flatpak
