Hello! On migrating to a new Linux machine, I found the following material (from3 years) ago. Is it still current information? Or has anything changed?

The 3 year old material: "If you are on Linux copy ~/.local/share/gajim (contains OMEMO keys and history) and ~/.config/gajim (contains settings) to the new device."

My Linux is a Manjaro if that makes any different. It seems to have both the named directories.

When double-clicking an item in the chatroom list in service discovery window, would it be better if showing more detailed room information instead of joining directly?

☭Mike Yellow: probably yes. But the whole Service Discovery dialog hasn't been touched in years. Some of its functionality should move elsewhere. Take for example browsing group chats on a server. This could be handled by "Start Chat" as well ✏

on restoring gajim portable from a backup i need to delete the pgp plugin folders for gajim not to crash on start

probably coz i didn't have pgp handler like cleopatra installed
