Hey does the mailing list doesn't work anymore?

Hi

Does modern Gajim already allow reliable browsing of years of local chat history? It's the primary reason keeping me on 1.3. Another ones are calls and displaying pictures by URLs in non-OOB messages, if I don't miss anything.

bodqhrohro, about history search, i think we have the same functionality in the chat view, as back then in the history manager, but if you miss something feel free to tellus

about pictures, yes gajim has the option to preview all urls

calls are an open issue

Ah, I see the date picker, okay.

no you cant read chats of disabled accounts

but its not clear why you need to disable it, you can leave it enabled and simply disable autoconnect, so you dont connect to the server

I have more than 10 accounts in 1.3, I wonder if they would fit the sidebar at all.

reading chats of MUCs without joining is possible but only with workarounds

basically you need to find a message from this muc in search, that brings you to the view without joining

this should definitly be improved

this could also improved, instead of displaying for every account a avatar, when multiple accounts are active, we could only show one button, and if you press it it shows a popover with all accounts which is scrollable

If possible, reset your password at the xmpp service provider or make a new account
