Hello ! I just came here to report a bug on Gajim ! I don't know if you already know about it but when writing a sentence with a semi-column ':', let's says "Here is how to achieve this : <the-guideline>". If inside <the-guideline> you write an emoji by looking it up, so you write ':la' for example to select the "laugh" emoji, when you select it, it deletes all your sentence until the previous semi-column. I hope I'm clear enough. Thanks for everything !

Consider adding play panel for “.m4a” file? That is a common audio recording file.

Mostly, it is an “.aac” audio file with an “.mp4” packaging.

I just met a wired problem. I wantted to ask a question, but when i input the text and press Enter, the text disappear (it should append to the chat content panel).

Sometimes, unstable connection causes you can not change your availability status too.

but it's better to tell the user what's going on.

Thanks for everything ! I'm not able to reproduce this. The only thing I could find was doing ': :lau', then choosing the laugh emoji consumes both semicolons

i won't do that again.

':text text text text text text :laugh' will consume everything back to the first semicolon. There must be no space between the first semicolon and the following text.

yes, but without DTLS/SRTP. so you can't call any modern XMPP client from Gajim.

my bounty of 10000$ for implementation of DTLS/SRTP for A/V is still active.

for example, in ~/.cache/avatars I see 1000+ jpegs

Projjal: gajim does put your own avatar in ~/.cache/gajim/avatars but I don't think there's any easy way to find it

setting a new avatar makes it easy to find since it will have a recent modification time, but that's probably not helpful

Projjal: `sqlitebrowser ~/.cache/gajim/cache.db`, browse the table called 'contact', type your jid into the filter field at the top of the column called 'jid'. The name in the avatar column is the name of your avatar file contained in ~/.cache/gajim/avatars
