  1. asterix hannibal, nice. all plugins built
  2. asterix and in daily script
  3. hannibal asterix: thanks
  4. hannibal asterix: where can I find the flatpakref file?
  5. asterix Gajim.org/.flatpakref. i should change the name to org.gajim.Gajim.flatpakref, no?
  6. hannibal Yes. I can't access .flatpakref.
  7. asterix done
  8. hannibal asterix, can you add `RuntimeRepo=https://dl.flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo` and `SuggestRemoteName=gajim-nightly` (or gajim-master) to flatpakref, and use `from gajim-nightly` (or -master) in the title
  9. hannibal and move the flatpakref to https://ftp.gajim.org/flatpak/appstream/ like it is done by gnome https://nightly.gnome.org/repo/appstream/
  10. raghavgururajan Hello Gajim!
  11. raghavgururajan I am getting pop-up that new updated plug-ins have been downloaded. Restart to install/enable them.
  12. raghavgururajan But after each restart, I am getting same pop-up.
  13. nussfell I installed Gajim on a new device and so I got a new OMEMO fingerprint. One of my contacts also uses Gajim and he can't see my new fingerprint. What can we do to fix that? Is it because we use different versions of Gajim and the OMEMO plug-in? He uses Gajim on Windows and has newer versions of Gajim and the OMEMO plug-in. I use Ubuntu 18.04 and have older versions but there are no updates available.
  14. lovetox no nussfell thats not the problem
  15. nussfell And what is the problem if that's not the problem?
  16. raghavgururajan For more information, I am using Gajim 1.1.3 in Guix System.
  17. lovetox raghavgururajan, hm i guess you have the omemo plugin in 2 locations as it seems
  18. lovetox did you install omemo via your distros package manager?
  19. bot Tommaso Sardelli created an issue in _gajim-plugins_ < https://dev.gajim.org/gajim/gajim-plugins/issues/482 >: #482: < [omemo] Missing release zip for omemo 2.6.30 (gajim 1.1) >
  20. raghavgururajan lovetox Yes, I installed the package 'gajim-omemo'.
  21. lovetox raghavgururajan, i think we found the problem, seems there is a problem with the plugin on the server
  22. lovetox i look into it
  23. raghavgururajan What is the shortcut key to open plugins window? My gnome currently has issues with menu.
  24. raghavgururajan lovetox Cool! Thanks you.
  25. lovetox there is no shortcut
  26. raghavgururajan Oh, no way open that window without menu button?
  27. lovetox no
  28. lovetox raghavgururajan, seems your problem is that you didnt update via package manager
  29. lovetox not sure where the package manager installs the omemo package
  30. lovetox but you have it now in 2 locations
  31. raghavgururajan So should I uninstall the package.
  32. raghavgururajan Let me check if the package in my distro got updated. May be updating that package should fix the issue.
  33. lovetox no the package did not get updated
  34. lovetox hm yes uninstall the distro package
  35. lovetox but leave all dependencys of that package installed
  36. nussfell My problem is solved. Suddenly, my contact could see my fingerprint
  37. lovetox nussfell, sometimes it takes a new login, or sending one or 2 messages, until the new key shows up
  38. lovetox important thing is not to panic and starting to delete or configure new things
  39. lovetox which most of the time ends in more problems
  40. lovetox asterix, can you please delete here https://ftp.gajim.org/plugins_releases/ omemo 2.6.30 - 2.6.50
  41. lovetox or maybe you can extend my user rights to see that folder
  42. raghavgururajan lovetox Was omemo plugin distributed inside the gajim package in any of the gajim's recent version?
  43. lovetox no never
  44. raghavgururajan Hmm. In that case how it would installed in two places.
  45. raghavgururajan Anyway, I figure it out.
  46. lovetox because the debian omemo package gets installed into another dir then the plugin installer in gajim does
  47. raghavgururajan Ah in that case, I never installed any plugin via plugin installer.
  48. raghavgururajan It's tricky in guix system, as binary directories are non-conventional.

  62. lovetox or rather the omemo folder from the 1.1 zips, and rename it in releases to .30
  63. asterix there in no version in 1.1_zip
  64. lovetox no the omemo.zip
  65. lovetox please COPY to release and rename with 2.6.30
