  2. Eduard Hello, how can I add a room to join when gajim start?
  3. Eduard s/join/autojoin/
  4. daniel Eduard, add a bookmark
  5. daniel 5here you can set it to automatically join the room on starting gajim
  6. Eduard Only adding the room to the bookmark?
  7. Eduard Well, seems that all rooms are bookmarked but gajim is not autojoining
  8. Eduard I need Righ click in the acount name -> Join groupchat -> select the room
  9. lovetox Eduard, Gajim -> Bookmarks

  11. raute Hi. Did you ever think about a headless mode? Would be cool for (OMEMO-enabled) bots etc. ...

  14. lovetox raute, what you want is a library that supports omemo
  15. raute lovetox: True, but it doesn't look like there is any. ;-)
  16. Syndace raute: Soon slixmpp will receive an OMEMO plugim
  17. Syndace raute: It's being worked on right now by pep. and me
  18. raute Syndace: Sounds great, thank you!
  19. raute Is there already a public repo?
  20. lash lovetox: so using profanity i'm actually able to exchange OMEMO messages with gajim as long as gajim sends one first
  21. lash it was however my understanding that OMEMO also includes a scheme for async delivery of end-to-end encrypted messages.
  22. lash but handling the actual asynchronicity, that probably requires implementing a separate XEP, or?
  23. lovetox no
  24. lovetox there are some requirements for omemo
  25. lovetox for example you must have full presence subscription to your contact
  26. lovetox are you aware of that?
  27. lash nope
  28. lash so I'll try again with that.
  29. lash thanks
  30. lovetox also im not sure how you can just "try again"
  31. lovetox if you have a session where you decrypted a message, you cant just "try again"
  32. lovetox there is no reset button
  33. lovetox lets talk in the evening, then you can try with me
  34. lash lovetox: what time?
  35. lovetox probably around 5-6 CET
  36. lash Actually I'm busy 5pm GMT and on.
  37. lash how about tmrw?
  38. lovetox tomorrow i also have time in the afternoon/evening
  39. lash great I'll check in in the evening and see if you're there. thanks
  40. lash by the way, how do Australia's new laws affect projects like Gajim? https://www.bbc.com/news/world-australia-46463029
  41. Syndace raute: Not yet but hopefully next week
  42. lovetox Gajim is neither a company nor offers it any service
  43. lovetox This would probably affect server owners in austrialia though

  57. lovetox andrey.g, it would really help to see a full log of your problems
  58. lovetox i cannot reproduce it, and your log in the ticket misses stuff that happens inbetween the errors
  59. Eduard lovetox, thank you.>‎[02:17:29 AM] ‎lovetox‎: Eduard, Gajim -> Bookmarks

  61. andrey.g lovetox‎, I'll try
  62. lovetox thanks andrey.g, maybe it would be beneficial if you just log always full to harddisk
  63. lovetox seeing you always using latest master
  64. lovetox could speed up the bug solving
  65. andrey.g I'm thinking about it.

  67. lovetox andrey.g, you see how smacks counts stanza now in the log
  68. lovetox after each thing we receive there must be something like
  69. lovetox 12/08/2018 00:22:35 (D) nbxmpp.smacks IN, message
  70. lovetox means we count +1
  71. lovetox so it should be easy to debug, where it goes wrong
  72. lovetox of course not if your log spanns 5000 messages
  73. lovetox though i think there is a bug there
  74. lovetox our h: 78, server h: 81
  75. lovetox next ack is <a xmlns="urn:xmpp:sm:3" h="4890" />
  76. lovetox andrey.g, you can log with .nbxmpp.smacks=DEBUG
  77. lovetox alone
  78. lovetox this should give really accurate info when something goes wrong
  79. andrey.g Are these "h"'s separate for counting messages sent from client to server and vice versa?
  80. andrey.g Since this would be helpful only for one issue and there are more, I think it would be better if I just grep for "nbxmpp.smacks" sending a log.
  81. lovetox we count the stanzas the server sends us thats the server h
  82. lovetox and "our h" is the stanzas that gone out to the server
  83. lovetox when the server acks one message, the queue is reduced
  84. lovetox or no, the server h is the amount of stanzas the server acked
