  1. nico when will there be the next windows alpha build ready for download?
  2. lovetox Now, nico
  3. nico sweet 🙂
  4. lovetox drag and drop seems not working for me though, but could also be a Win 10 Problem
  5. nico on my linux maschine it works perfectly
  6. lovetox good to hear
  7. lovetox then maybe a gtk issue that i have to report
  8. nico I really really like that change. drag and drop is the best change
  9. nico lovetox, the go to way to download the latest build is https://gajim.org/downloads/1.0/ right?
  10. lovetox no
  11. lovetox depends
  12. lovetox if you mean released builds yeah
  13. lovetox if you mean nightly its
  14. lovetox https://gajim.org/downloads/win/snaps
  15. lovetox https://gajim.org/downloads/win/snap
  16. lovetox https://gajim.org/downloads/snap/win
  17. lovetox :)
  18. nico I mean released alpha builds for windows. My windows desktop is not set up to build the source and I dont want to mess it up 😀 Then what you meant by a new release, is a new snapshot release not a new alpha release right?
  19. lovetox you dont have to build anything on any system
  20. lovetox on linux there are package repositorys
  21. lovetox and on windows you have installer exe
  22. lovetox released versions are for download on gajim.org
  23. lovetox daily builds are here https://gajim.org/downloads/snap/win
  24. nico true 🙂 I am using archlinux, with the arch aur gajim-git to get the latest commits are those build stable enough to use them?
  25. lovetox no
  26. lovetox you can try it and if it works, good, but if you do a update a few days later, gajim could not run at all
  27. nico hmm then i think I will wait at least until the next alpha release for windows. my arch laptop runs without *any* problems normally with the latest commits. I had one issue in like 3 month where gajim had some errors.
  28. lovetox the aur repo just pulls the latest changes at time of install
  29. nico yep I like the arch aur build script. good thing that the previously builds are kept so when something really bad happens I can rollback easiy
  30. lovetox for windows i recommend using the portable installer
  31. lovetox that way you can just copy the old folder rename it, install the new gajim test it, and can go back in seconds if something is wrong
  32. nico hmm that seams to be a goog solution for windows. i will give that a shot 🙂 thanks 🙂
  33. bronko Hi, i am on gajim-master, latest nightly, Win7. When i open gajim by clicking the tray icon, roster pops up but the position is out of my desktop (i see only a small part (bottom) of the roster).
  34. bronko I suspect my dual monitor setup which has different resolutions, gajim opens on the smaller one, and the position seems to be calculated from the bigger one.
  35. lovetox you can reset it in ACE
  36. lovetox you can open a issue about it
  37. bronko thanks, i will open an issue
