Gajim - 2018-01-07

  1. Link Mauve “21:46:13 rom1dep> > It is not working for me... It cannot work safely in anonymous MUCs. But then it's up to the client to offer it/render it as a correction”, it totally can, just not with messages from the history.
  2. baitisj Ooooh! Corrected working... very cool
  3. baitisj Ooooh! Corrected working... very cool!!
  4. baitisj Here's Gajim in action with latest Biboumi: !!
  5. baitisj corrected on earlier lines apparently retransmits
  6. rom1dep baitisj: that's made even worse by now having MAM on MUCs, it annoys me so much having messages in the db but not in the window that I sometimes end-up leaving/rejoining the room so that messages are displayed properly
  7. baitisj rom1dep, are you saying that you're frustrated that your client doesn't populate the window with history from the MUC?
  8. baitisj I think that it should be default behavior that when you join any chat (including a MUC) that the window should populate to the bottom of the viewable area with chat history
  9. baitisj Now at two days without crash, running Gajim on FreeBSD. This is looking good...
  10. rom1dep yes indeed. With the latest MUC/MAM additions, you can easily end-up in a state where the chat window isn't in line with the message database, like when you disconnect and reconnect later
  11. rom1dep (i.e. you can see message in ctrl+h that aren't in the chat window)
  12. baitisj That's unfortunate
